About
My name is Josue Lora, a junior at New Heights Academy Charter School. My passion for exercise and learning are what guide me to my desired future. Programs like SEO have given me the opportunities that have solidified what I want to do with my life.
What I’m Raising Money For
I am raising to be able to backpack in Alaska for 30 days. Through this I will be able to learn how to survive in the wilderness while seeing the amazing sights nature has to offer as well as becoming the leader I want to be. This journey is extremely important to me because it marks the first step into an amazing and unknown journey and it correlates with my passions.
Why You Should Give
Enrichment programs are for scholars to leave their comfort zone, and ultimately help us build confidence, independence, and college-readiness. In my case it will allow me to develop leadership skills to better myself for a college lifestyle. It will teach me to be more independent and take more charge to lead my own life. Finally I will be able to have a productive summer full of irreplaceable experiences that will define who I wish to become.
