About

My name is Shelda Francois and I am junior at Brooklyn College Academy. These past recent years my academic focus have been Science, Literature, and History. Outside of the classroom I have invested time in CPR/first aid training as well as student groups focused on female empowerment and educational reform in NYC.

What I’m Raising Money For

The combination of my academic and extracurricular interests have driven my desire to be a medical doctor to serve others in undeserved communities. This summer I will be taking my first step towards that long-term goal by attending a pre-medical program at a highly ranked university. The program will consist of both academic classes and supplemental research. Given the immense opportunity provided I am seeking support to cover expenses including but not limited to books, airfare, and general living expenses.
