About
My name Kenneth Owusu. I am a junior at Manhattan Center for Science and Math. I am a motivated student who is expected to graduated in 2020 and attend a 4-year university. I am interested in medicine and law and hope to pursue a career in one or both of these fields. Outside of school I enjoy bike riding with friends and trying new foods.
What I’m Raising Money For
I am raising money to support my participation in an experiential summer abroad to Italy. While in Italy I will be working alongside enviromentalists to study sustainable agriculture. As pert of my time there, I will spend time on an agri-turismo or a 15th century French farm, growing vegetables and caring to animals. I will also engage in several cultural immersion activities to completely grasp the Italian culture.
Why You Should Give
You should give because having this experience is a once in a lifetime opportunity that not many people of my socio-economic background get. This program will help build me as a person and a scholar, both making me culturally competent and a stronger candidate for college.
