About

Triangle Rowing Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing opportunities to youth in Raleigh/Durham North Carolina. The club fosters a competitive rowing environment and encourages the development of good sportsmanship and teamwork.

What I’m Raising Money For

TRC is hosting our 3rd Annual Erg-A-Thon on Saturday, March 16, 2019, from 8:00am-11: 30 am to raise money for a NEW 4+ VESPOLI VHP WORLD CLASS RACING SHELL BOAT!!! Our High School squad will each row 10,000 meters and our Middle School squad will each complete 5,000 meters. This goal will push all of our members to their maximum capacity!

Why You Should Give

Rowing is a sport that demands hard work, it demands sacrifice, it demands heart. From the famous words of Rocky Balboa, "It's not about how hard you hit, but about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward..." Our team in the middle of the Triangle in North Carolina is not comprised of 6'5 muscle machines. When you invest in our cause and support us with equipment you are not investing in the size of our legs, arms, or definition of our abs... but rather the size of our hearts. When every muscle in our bodies give out our hearts trudge on, our spirits fight on. The ergathon is a way to boost team morale and find a source to get new equipment. The difference between donating to us versus any other team is that you invest in a mindset. One I can confidently say is unbeatable. We are state champions and we earned it with our hearts not our muscles.
