About
West Potomac High School Crew has been a part of the Fort Hunt/Mount Vernon community for the past 50 years (previously as Fort Hunt H.S. Crew). Our club is home to 100+ dedicated athletes, freshmen through seniors. Many of our athletes row through college and into adulthood. West Potomac Crew has two seasons: Winter Conditioning which is an intensive preparation program for all rowers and the Spring competitive season. This year, West Potomac Crew will be practicing out of Ft. Belvoir.
What I’m Raising Money For
West Potomac Crew is one over 40 rowing teams in the metropolitan Washington, DC area. Money raised via fundraisers goes towards regattas, equipment maintenance, and more.
Why You Should Give
Although Crew is a varsity sport, West Potomac Crew receives ZERO financial support from the school or county because we are a “club” sport. All our funds are raised through athlete fees, fundraisers and donations.
