About
After a very exciting spring season in the first-ever Champions League of the Norcal National Premier League against all of the other top teams of Northern California, my soccer team came in first place with a record of 6-1 and a total 32 goals scored and just 4 goals scored against us. This qualified us for the Western States Playoffs next month in San Diego, which involves the top 16 teams nationally from the West Coast, Texas, Southwest and Midwest. This is an amazing accomplishment and opportunity for a soccer club our size that's not yet 10 years old. The past year we have been rising in levels until we've gotten to this point. We won the Norcal Premier League, and so we entered the Norcal NPL. We then went on to win the NPL and so we got a chance to play in Champions League. Now we've won this and are going to the National Tournament.
What I’m Raising Money For
We found out that we had qualified for the Western National Finals, which would take place from June 29 to July 3, just a couple of weeks ago. There are quite a few families on our team who need help with the expenses to go on this trip for many reasons including already having plans to be traveling elsewhere and a shortage of time to save money. The expenses include the transportation to San Diego, hotel rooms for 5 days, and meals. For every one of my teammates to be able to go and play in this tournament, we need all of your help.
Why You Should Give
We need every single player to go to the tournament in order to play our best and compete against all these great teams from all over the country. We also want every player to have this opportunity that we will remember for the rest of our lives. Also, there will be many scouts from many different colleges and teams that will provide us with a chance to show our talents. So please please please, help us with the expenses for this tournament and we'd all be extremely grateful.
