About
About St. John Fisher University Rowing: The St. John Fisher University Athletics Department places the highest priority on complementing the University's academic experience by providing a personalized educational environment in which student-athletes can cultivate and enhance physical, psychological and social growth and development. The Athletics Department is committed to developing leadership skills, reinforcing academic success and promoting university spirit, in an environment that both values and emphasizes: respect, honesty, civility, service, cultural diversity, and gender equity.
About Athlete 2 Athlete: a supportive and inclusive community of students advocating and raising awareness for student-athletes mental health on campus. Our goal is to address the stigma surrounding mental health in the sports world and provide mental health education and resources.
About Katie’s Save: Katie’s Save is based on the principle of student-choice. It is a mission to implement a policy where students can opt for a trusted adult ‘Designated Advocate’ to receive notice and provide support when they need it the most.
The initiative of Katie’s Save is the prevention of any future tragedies
What I’m Raising Money For
The St. John Fisher Women’s Rowing Team in partnership with Athlete 2 Athlete will be rowing on Tuesday, April 4th from 8am to 8pm, in the St. John Fisher University Campus Center, to benefit Katie’s Save. Katie’s Save is a foundation to continually support students and teams of all age levels through spreading mental health awareness and developing suicide prevention programs.
